You might have noticed that I have bought a print account. I was lured by the fact that it is a one time payment and would automatically get convereted to PrintsII. Though I am not sure if to sell prints you need to be subscribed to deviantArt or not?
BTW, I have uploaded a couple of prints lately. But now having some issue. Tried to contact the Prints team but did not get any reply. So, I was wondering if anybody can help me out.
Is there a limit on the file size which you can upload? I am asking this because I have had success in uploading a ~ 25MB (1:1) prints but unable to do it for prints ~ 36 MB (1.5:1).
It keeps saying Loading .... for a while and then comes back to the Step 3 page, where it shows, I still need to "Provide Details" for the Prints.
Also, I am able upload Postcard Sizes of the same print.
Thanks for your help.
Devious Comments
All of my Prints that I submit in 1.5:1 are somewhere in the range of 10-25Mb. I learned early on that it just plain takes forever for one to go through. Every now and then I try my luck at submitting two but usually one fails. Since the switch is being made to PrintsII there are some bugs in the system that are being worked through right now...
It just takes some patience to deal with. Best thing to do is walk away for about half an hour while your file is uploading. If you only want to submit the one Print size then click on Back to Products and then Continue. If all has gone well you'll get a message telling you that your Print should be approved soon. Of course, that doesn't mean that it really will be...
If you need any clarifying on an issue I have had just about every problem there is with the system so far. While I'm not an admin I'm certainly more reachable than one!
Cheers and good luck!

Well I figured out the problem, When created the image in gimp and exported it .. it saved it with 299x299 DPI specs. This was causing trouble to DA. I changed it to 300x300 and it worked fine.
Gimp always does that ... dunno why... I guess you should give ftp a try .... I did and it works nicely.. much faster than HTTP method.
I like SmartFTP .. although it hardly matters which client do you use. Its much easier to upload via FTP. Thanks muchly for the help ...
